Day 888 - Day 378 Q - Mar.23.21 - How much do you believe your own bullshit?

Do you believe it? Do you believe your own bullshit? Everyone believes their own bullshit and you’re no different. You’re just lucky to live a life with a variety of experiences across the world and have shown an ability to make the most of situations where you’ve been. So is the bullshit you spew a bit better than others? Possibly. It’s a bit more informed than other people and comes with a little more context, but it’s still bullshit. Everyone loves hearing the sound and opinion of their own BS because it makes us feel smarter. But if you only listen and trust your own opinion, how are you supposed to grow? Isn’t other people's BS suppose to help inform your BS because where did your BS come from in the first place? Your parents, your friends, the media you consume, your phone, your teachers and your environment. But all of that is other people’s BS. Most people are very quick to adopt their surroundings and assume the world exists in their environment. But that’s not true. Sure your environment is your world but it’s not the world. Most people judge society and the world based on exactly what they see around them. They don’t want to actively look for things that contradict them or make them wrong because it makes them question their identity. It’s ok to question your identity. It’s ok to be wrong. In fact it’s healthy because how else are you supposed to learn? So don’t believe all your BS. Keep evolving and refining it.
