Day 1617 - Mar.4.23 - Learning later in life

So much respect for those who pick up a new education later in life. It’s never too late to learn. Most people think their intelligence is capped after a certain age. That’s wrong. It’s a bullshit lie the world has convinced you People think education stops after you finish your schooling. Bullshit. It never stops. In fact, when you’re an adult it gets even more exciting because now you can learn whatever you want. You can pursue your curiosities no matter how weird and wonderful they are. Be patient with yourself, it will take longer than you think to get into the swing of things but you can do it. It’s possible. Your intelligence is not capped. It never was and never is. You have the ability to be anything you want. You just have to be patient and consistent. It will be hard. You will experience setbacks and failures. That’s good. It means you’re moving in a positive direction. You’re progressing forward. Kudos to those people who choose to do it after middle age. It’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks but it is possible. We have the capacity, it’s dependent on how committed we are to persevere through failure. If you’re willing to show up and fail, you’ll make progress. Your world will be opened up to more than you can imagine. Always prioritize your own learning, you won’t regret it.
