My business is to create:

‍

A great movie.

‍

One that reminds you we’re all finite.

‍

We’re going to go someday.

‍

When that day comes, the people in our life will never forget us.

‍

All they’ll have are memories.

‍

All they’ll have are pictures.

‍

But they have to move on.

‍

They have to live their life.

‍

They have to stop waiting for life to happen for them.

‍

They have to start acting.

‍

The universe will give them a sign.

‍

You just have to see it and act on it.

‍

Steven Spielberg said this in a video I watched recently.

‍

Intuition whispers.

‍

It’s not loud.

‍

But it’s there.

‍

Act on it.

‍

Enjoy the time when you’re with people.

‍

You never know when it will be the last time you see them.

‍

Last time you talk to them.

‍

Last time you’ll hear their voice.

‍

They’ll be gone one day.

‍

We all will.

‍

We’re all temporary.

‍

Here one day.

‍

Gone the next.

‍

But what can you do?

‍

The only piece of advice I have is…

‍

Create

‍

Create something.

‍

Whatever you want.

‍

Make something.

‍

Something you like making.

‍

Something you’d want to see in the world.

‍

Keep making those things.

‍

Take chances.

‍

Show the world what you want to see.

‍

Find something where you enjoy the process of creating.

‍

You enjoy the thing you’re doing just because.

‍

Not for anything else other than you like it.

‍

Even when it’s hard.

‍

Even when you want to give up.

‍

Even when you have those voices in your head telling you you’re a fraud.

‍

Even through them.

‍

Keep creating.

‍

Create a business.

Create a collage.

‍

Create a community.

‍

Create something.

‍

Create something valuable to other people.

‍

And even if no one thinks it is at the beginning, make it valuable to you.

‍

The movie ends with Hilary Swank, who I have to say was super hot in that movie, selling one-of-a-kind shoes and creating her own business.

‍

It was a good reminder.

‍

Stop waiting for life to happen to you.

‍

Make it your business to create.
