Day 688 – Day 183 Q – Sep.8.20 – Decision making

Decision making. That’s it. That’s the difference between winning and losing. Between being successful and being a nobody. Between making history and being just another blip in time. Most of your decisions are based on past experiences but that is flawed. Your past can’t be the only lens with which you make decisions. Science, new people, new experiences and understanding what those who have walked in your shoes have done should also play a major role. And yet our ego mind chooses mostly to block those people out. That sometimes works but in the long run, I’d venture to say you’re going to end up in a bad place continuing down that path. You need to make decisions from an informed place. Only once you have all the information can you make a decision that’s in the best interest for you at the time. Even then, it may turn out to be the wrong decision. But that’s ok because as long as you learn from that and don’t repeat the same mistakes over, you’ll learn to make better decisions. Ones that will put you on the path to success and other people will wonder how you did what you did. Decision making.
