Nights like tonight are why you work so hard. They’re why you go out and build relationships with people. Getting people together to chill, eat, drink and have fun is always time well spent. Why work so hard if you can’t even enjoy life with friends. These are all new folks too, people you’ve only met in the last few years. Yet the more time you spend with them, the more you realize how similar you are. How many shared values you have. How you can choose to be yourself with no judgment and have people laughing around. Honestly ate so much food and laughed so much I thought I was going to vomit. This idea to get people together just to have fun is such a great idea, especially with those you trust in your industry. It’s hard to build and maintain these relationships, but if you can, you can go such a long way. What you do is unlike anyone else. Keep bringing people together in whatever way you can. It’s a great way to expand your network and also have fun with those around you. Nights like tonight where most of the night was laughter and singing are always worth it.
