Don't trust me

Not listening to everything I say, learning for yourself and coming to your own conclusions

Don’t trust me:

Don’t trust me.

Don’t believe everything I say.

Go look at it yourself.

Go understand it.

Go learn about it.

Go look at what I’ve linked and what I’ve talked about.

Type it into Wikipedia and learn about it.

Formulate your own opinions about it.

No matter what you think, think for yourself.

Based on the evidence you have, do you believe what I’m talking about or not?

It’s ok if you don’t.

In fact it’s better if you don’t.

That’s good.

Formulate your own opinions based on the evidence you have.

The solution for misinformation is more evidence based information.

The solution for canceling voices is more voices.

Listen to people speak.

Listen to the voices you don’t agree with.

Just because someone disagrees with you, that doesn’t mean you’re wrong or they’re right.

What if you’re wrong?

What if the way you interpret the world is wrong?

Are you ok with it?

Search for the truth, whether it lines up with your beliefs or not.

Accept the world for what it is rather than what you think it should be.

The sooner you can do that, the better off you’ll be.

Based on everything I’ve discussed, the world is about to be a crisis.

I feel like a captain on a ship before the storm is coming.

Looking to the best in the world.

Listening to those who’ve come before me, stealing their ideas but also establishing my own opinion.

Thinking for myself.

Connecting the past with where I see the world.

Writing about it.

Putting my ideas out there for everyone to see.

Does that mean I’ll be right?

Absolutely not.

No one is always right.

The future is unpredictable.

I’m just trying to understand the world a little bit better.

I’ll make tons of mistakes.

But what if I’m right?

Here’s the asymmetric bet.

If Gamestop blowing up is part of the market crash, I’ll have predicted the future before it happens.

If it doesn’t, I’ll have 500+ posts of content that I could turn into podcasts and videos at the minimum.

Even if I’m wrong, so what?

At least I took a chance.

Don’t trust me.

Figure it out for yourself.
