No one is worth the pedestal you put them on:

No one is worth the pedestal you put them on.

We’re all flawed.

Celebrities and those in public like to present the perfect image to you.

Yet they’re just as fucked up as you are.

Busy dealing with their bullshit.

Letting their childhood beliefs dictate the way they act.

Letting fear get in their way.

Constantly battling their mind.

The most successful people in the world are just as flawed as you and me.

Even if they have enough, they’re constantly on the hamster wheel.

Chasing this bullshit idea that money makes you happy.

It can make your life easier, but it does not lead to happiness.

We look at people with money as successful but they deal with the same stuff everyone else does.

Fights with family, someone not talking to them, someone close to them having a major medical problem and what show to watch at night.

Money doesn’t mean you won’t struggle.

We all struggle.

Struggle is a human experience that you’ve shared with every person that has ever existed.

All those people on the pedestal have dealt with it.

They’ve succeeded in the public eye but they all struggle.

Every day.

They fight their inner demons just like you and I do.

But there's a lot to learn from them.

Don’t pay attention to what they’ve accomplished but learn how they did it.

Learn about their struggle.

The people that have succeeded in the public eye have failed over and over again.

They’ve looked at their struggle and continued to work.

Continued to persevere through everything.

If you should put anything on a pedestal, it should be their belief and work ethic.

Their ability to show up again and again, even when they failed.

The characteristics of those who have accomplished something are what you should be paying attention to.

Learn from their stories.

If you don’t have role models in your life, go look up 5 people who you want to be like and go learn about them.

Literally, ask yourself what you want to be in your life then find the most successful people in that domain and go learn.

Read and watch everything they’ve ever done.

If you can get documentaries or books about who they were day to day and their work ethic, that’s what you want.

Then act.

Do something.

Take action on your dreams.

Persevere through all the bullshit that’s inevitably going to come.

All the criticism and non-believers.

Don’t listen to them.

Chase the process.

Don’t chase the outcome.

Those on a pedestal have put in years of effort.

If you want to be on that pedestal, get ready to put in years of effort.
