Those closest can be the most selfish:

Those closest can be the most selfish.

Never let them decide the trajectory of your life.

You can do what you want.

Don’t let them hold you back.

Don’t let their negativity keep you from accomplishing what you want.

Tonight was another time I understood - people don’t care about you.

The people closest to you are sometimes the most selfish.

The ones with the biggest ego.

They don’t want to show support or appreciation for the grind.

They tell you they’re supporting you but they could care less.

Don’t mind them.

Let their opinions go.

Don’t let them affect who you want to be.

Put in the time and show them.

Let them let their ego be the driver of their life.

Let them self destruct.

Let them be who they are, regardless of if you agree with them.

Let people be.

Let people be who they’re conditioned to be.

Let them believe in their negative self-talk.

Let them believe it can’t be done.

Let them tell you it’s impossible.

Go show them.

Prove it.

Go do it.

Go live your dreams and fuck everyone who tells you otherwise, even those closest to you.

Because they’re often the ones who are the most selfish.
