To my future wife:

To my future wife.

Get ready.

You’re about to go on the craziest adventure of your life.

It won’t be easy.

But boy oh boy, will it be worth it.

With tons of fun along the way.

I’ve been blessed.

Too blessed.

Have amazing parents.

Awesome friends.

And I’ve been lucky.

Really lucky.

To grow up with parents who loved to travel.

I visited 50 countries by the time I was 21.

Very few people in the world get to experience that.

And I won’t stop.

Travel is part of my life.

There’s always a trip planned at some point.

I’m also busy.

I live an active life.

Workout multiple times a week.

Focused on another challenge.

Trying to push my body and mind farther than I have before.

Challenges are my ethos.

Seek discomfort.

It’s how I live.

How I enjoy life.

But it’s also about having fun.

Dinners.

Drinks.

Cocktails.

Trying new restaurants.

Seeing friends.

Dancing at concerts.

Going to weddings.

Always having things to look forward to.

And if there isn’t, I’ll make sure there is.

Life is meant to be celebrated.

To be enjoyed.

But not all the time.

You also need to chill.

Rest.

Relax.

Have Sundays where you do nothing.

But nothing to me is still doing something.

Still trying to be active.

It’s a lot of family time.

Of hanging out.

Playing with Kona.

Golfing, at least in the summer.

But the entire time, I will always be on.

Always be focused.

Always be thinking ahead.

How can I improve?

How can I be better?

How can I get the most out of life?

I believe life needs to be lived every day.

To be experienced.

To be present.

Life is like a dance.

People think the goal is to get to the end of the dance.

But the goal has always been to dance while the music is playing.

That’s it.

Enjoying life.

Getting the most out of it.

But also making an impact.

Making a difference.

Doing good deeds to leave a mark bigger than yourself.

To bring energy.

Good vibes.

Excitement to people’s lives.

I am a high-energy person.

Always will be.

I scream at the TV while watching sports.

I laugh a lot.

I’m always humming.

My family thinks I’m too loud.

And I probably am.

I know that’s a lot to handle.

But that’s me.

That’s who I am.

All I want is someone who gets me.

Who understands me.

But who also wants to build something.

Wants to experience all that life has to offer.

Wants to push themselves.

To have a family.

To be close to family.

To be always improving.

But also enjoying the ride.

Enjoying the journey.

Someone who likes a busy life.

Who can keep up.

Someone I can put in the middle of any environment and know that the person will be ok.

I will be at a lot of events in my life.

Been to 50+ weddings in my life, most of them Indian with multiple days.

I will be going to a lot more.

I want someone who I can have by my side.

Who can get along with my family.

Who can be curious and interested in other people.

But who can also sit the day after talking about all the gossip from the night before.

Someone who wants to be out there.

Doing stuff.

Trying.

Trying to build a great life.

I am not interested in mediocrity.

Not interested in sitting at home all the time watching Netflix.

Or wasting our time doomscrolling on our phone.

Who cares more about what they look like on Instagram than who they are in real life.

I want someone real.

Someone who’s lived.

Someone who’s suffered.

Who understands life is not all sunshine and rainbows.

I want someone who will be at the wedding.

But also be at the hospital at 3 in the morning when everything is going wrong.

Who will show up.

Not when life is good.

But when life is not.

When life hits you with a brick.

That’s who I want.

I want the girl who cares about other people and does their best to make a positive difference in the world.

But also one who wants to stay up late into the night talking about life.

This is my promise to you.

I promise to be there.

Always.

No matter what.

I am not perfect.

I don’t expect you to be.

But I expect you to show up.

I expect you to be there.

I expect you to listen.

I expect you to figure it out.

I expect you not to run when life gets hard.

Because it will.

I will guarantee that.

But I want someone who will stick it out.

Who understands that marriage is forever.

That when life gets hard, the family always matters.

The core.

Always.

I promise to support you.

To believe in you.

To be your biggest cheerleader.

It will be us against the world.

Now let’s go conquer it.

You coming?
