What’s the value of a moment:

What’s the value of a moment?

A penny?

A billion dollars?

How about priceless?

Moments are fleeting.

Here now.

Gone in an instant.

Some moments we remember forever.

Others we forget as soon as they’re gone.

But those moments with friends and family.

Those we remember for a long time.

We take those to our grave.

Those moments stick with you forever.

Especially when those people are gone.

Here today.

Gone tomorrow.

Like all of us.

It’s hardest when it happens young.

When you lose a parent.

Or an uncle.

Or a cousin.

Someone who was in your life.

Who was always there.

Now, they’re no longer here.

What moments do you remember about them?

All of them.

When they smiled.

When they laughed.

When you were driving in the car talking about alcohol.

Or when you partied at an investor event you didn’t know you were both attending.

Those are the moments that stick with you forever.

The ones you don’t forget.

Especially when they’re gone.

Cherish those moments.

The ones with those you love.

You never know when things can change.

I thought I’d grow old with my older cousin.

My role model.

Yet cancer took his life at 33.

We don’t have a tomorrow.

We only have a now.

So don’t waste that time.

Don’t waste those moments.

How valuable are those moments?

Priceless.
