Worry about the valleys, the hills will take care of themselves:

Worry about the valleys, the hills will take care of themselves.

Heard that watching the Quincy documentary today.

Must watch.

What a man.

What a legend.

What a genius.

The dude lived an incredible life.

Shaped Western culture in more ways than you can imagine.

Worked on Thriller, the number one-selling album ever.

Directed We are the world, the number one selling single ever.

Discovered Oprah.

Discovered Will Smith.

Produced Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Arranged for Frank Sinatra.

The man has worked with more talent than anyone else.

But he’s also flawed.

His mother affected him in ways he could never imagine.

Always running.

Always working.

Never sticking with one relationship.

The man was a workaholic.

Yet created art that touched billions.

It wasn’t all a straight line.

It was many peaks and valleys.

Break-ups.

Deaths.

Failure.

Health problems.

All of it.

As one of his friends said, life isn’t about the hills.

The ups.

The times at the top.

It’s about the downs.

The struggle.

The failures.

It’s how you handle the valleys that determines your life.
