Chase memories:

Chase memories.

Chase moments you’ll remember forever.

Chase moments with those you love.

You can only accumulate so much before it becomes tiring.

How many more places can you own?

How many watches can make you happy?

How many pieces of art can you have?

Being wealthy doesn’t mean you have a wealthy life.

A lot of rich people are miserable.

Chasing this goal of money thinking it will make them happy.

But the money chase is a fool’s errand.

You’ll always be on the inevitable hamster wheel never stopping to accumulate more.

So instead of just chasing money, chase memories.

Spend it on experiences with those that are important to you.

Writing this, sitting here the day after watching the Champions league semi-final in person.

Man City won 4-3 in an incredible semi-final, but the day was so much more than that.

My friend is a Madrid fan and we found the die-hard supporters before the match.

We drank with them then walked in their police escort on the way to the stadium drinking the whole way there.

Chanting with them as they walked through the city.

A moment I’ll never forget.

Even though it cost me more than I had imagined, I have no regrets.

I’ll never remember saving extra dollars but will always remember the bucket list ones with those you love.

Chase memories, it makes life a lot more fun.
