The world’s crises are beginning:

The world’s crises are beginning.

There is unrest in Peru.

There is unrest in Sri Lanka.

Shanghai, a city of 20 million+ people, is shut down.

People are starving.

Food is getting expensive.

Inflation has consequences.

What did you expect when trillions of American dollars, the world’s reserve currency, was created in the last few years?

This is on policymakers globally for turning on the money printer for too long.

Now people are suffering.

The last time food was this expensive, the Arab spring happened.

We will have many more crises this next decade.

This will be a decade of turmoil.

Internal conflict within countries.

Economic crises globally.

Massive deflation ala the Great Depression or a hyperinflation ala Weimar Germany, both awful.

Actions have consequences.

Effectively running QE since 2008 to backstop the asset markets have widened the wealth gap to levels not seen for generations.

Something’s gotta break and likely sooner than later.

The world’s crises are just beginning.
