Is an American civil war upon us?

Feels like we’re getting closer every day.

‍

A new movie is coming out from A24 called ‘Civil War.’

‍

It’s done from a foreigner’s perspective, but still.

‍

Feels like preparation for a potential future.

‍

Will this happen?

‍

Probably not.

‍

But could it?

‍

Absolutely.

‍

Dalio’s been saying the chances of it happening are increasing every day.

‍

Colorado and Maine, two states, recently took Trump’s name off the ballot.

‍

Meaning that if he were to run and win, they wouldn’t consider him their president.

‍

The last time this happened was with Abraham Lincoln during the civil war.

‍

What happens if other states start to do that?

‍

We all know what happened with January 6th.

‍

The world watched as thousands of people descended on Capitol Hill, murdered police officers, and almost overthrew the government.

‍

They were chanting ‘hang Mike Pence.’

‍

These things don’t happen in civilized societies.

‍

Some of us may have seen videos or movies where people storm the president’s house/capitol to overthrow the government.

‍

The US set it up all around the world through the CIA.

‍

Now it’s being done in America.

‍

Could China, Russia, Iran, Saudia and others have a part to play in it?

‍

For sure.

‍

All these foreign powers meddle in each other’s elections.

‍

We just don’t see it.

‍

I had this thought a few years ago.

‍

Wrote a post titled ‘The Next American Revolution Could be Upon Us’ thinking it was going to be related to the Gamestop and AMC situations.

‍

Could that still happen?

‍

Possibly.

‍

But since January 6th and given some recent news I’ve seen, it could be closer than we think.

‍

Had this conversation with a man from Arizona on vacation.

‍

We were speaking about America.

‍

I asked him the question ‘do you think a civil war could happen in America in the next few years?’

‍

His answer was ‘Yes. I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.’

‍

Woah.

‍

The polarization has gotten so bad.

‍

No one likes Trump.

‍

No one like Biden.

‍

States are starting to take him off the ballot.

‍

And if Trump and Biden run against each other, whichever side loses is not going to be happy and may not accept the results of the election.

‍

Then it will go to the courts where the Republicans changed them throughout Trump’s term.

‍

All led by Mitch McConnell.

‍

Remember this - Trump’s biggest win in his presidency was not his tax bill.

‍

It was getting 3 justices on the Supreme Court.

‍

How do you think the abortion ruling got overturned?

‍

Those justices will be on that court for the next 30-40 years.

‍

If the results of the election go to the Supreme Court, who’s side do you think they’ll be on?

‍

We saw a dry run of this in 2000 with Bush and Al Gore.

‍

That situation in 2000 could’ve been bad, but Al Gore accepted the results and the country moved on.

Will Trump or Biden do that if it’s that close?

‍

Unlikely.

‍

What happens then?

‍

Supporters come out in droves and start marching on the capital.

‍

Exactly like they did on Jan 6th.

‍

When that happens, then what?

‍

Remember, America is armed to the teeth.

‍

There are more guns in the US in the hands of civilians than there are anywhere else around the world.

‍

That’s a problem.

‍

A huge problem for America, but also the world.

‍

If they descend into civil war, all bets are off.

‍

I don’t want this outcome to be true.

‍

I don’t think it will.

‍

But given recent events I’ve seen, this could be more of a possibility than you think.

‍

Pay attention.

‍

An American civil war may be here in the next few years.
